TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: September 9, 2026

1. OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Arousse Cards. Throughout the website, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Arousse Cards.

Arousse Cards offers this website, including all information, products, tools, and services available through it, to you conditioned upon your acceptance of these Terms of Service.

By visiting our website, creating an account, or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies made available on the website.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms of Service limits or excludes any mandatory rights or legal warranties provided under applicable consumer protection legislation.

2. ONLINE STORE

You must have reached the age of majority in your province, state, or country of residence, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order through this website.

You may not use our products, website, or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

You must not transmit viruses, malicious code, automated attacks, or any other material that could damage or interfere with the operation of the website.

3. PRODUCTS AND COLLECTIBLES

Arousse Cards sells collectible products, including:

  • Raw trading cards;

  • Professionally graded trading cards;

  • Pokémon products;

  • Hockey cards;

  • Sealed products;

  • Related collectibles and accessories.

Many products are unique or available in limited quantities. Adding a product to your cart does not guarantee its availability until your order has been completed.

We make reasonable efforts to present accurate product descriptions and photographs. Screens, lighting, camera settings, protective sleeves, and display settings may cause colours or details to appear slightly different.

When a listing contains photographs of the exact card, those photographs form an important part of the product description. Customers should carefully review all available photographs and information before purchasing.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed because of an inventory synchronization issue, we will contact the customer and issue an appropriate refund.

4. RAW CARD CONDITION

Raw cards are evaluated and described according to their visible condition. Condition descriptions may include:

  • Near Mint (NM);

  • Lightly Played (LP);

  • Moderately Played (MP);

  • Heavily Played (HP);

  • Damaged (DMG).

Condition assessment involves a degree of professional judgment. Customers should review the description and all available front-and-back photographs before purchasing.

We do not guarantee that a raw card will receive any particular grade if submitted to a professional grading company.

The condition stated in the listing and the photographs of the card should be considered together. If there is an important discrepancy between the written condition and the photographs, customers should contact us before purchasing.

5. PROFESSIONALLY GRADED CARDS

Professionally graded cards are sold according to the grade and certification assigned by the grading company identified in the listing, such as PSA, BGS, or CGC.

Arousse Cards does not control third-party grading decisions and does not guarantee:

  • That another grading company would assign the same grade;

  • That the same company would assign the same grade if the card were resubmitted;

  • That a crossover, review, or regrading submission will succeed;

  • Any future market value or resale price.

Any visible wear or imperfections affecting the grading holder will be disclosed when reasonably noticeable and relevant.

6. SEALED PRODUCTS

Sealed products are sold in their existing factory-sealed condition unless otherwise stated.

Arousse Cards does not guarantee the contents, pull rates, card values, grades, or manufacturing quality inside a sealed product. These factors are determined by the manufacturer and chance.

Opened sealed products are not eligible for return except where required by applicable law or where the customer received an incorrect or materially misrepresented product.

7. AUTHENTICITY

We make reasonable efforts to inspect and accurately represent the products we sell.

Third-party company names, certification marks, game names, league names, character names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, Arousse Cards is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, PSA, BGS, CGC, the NHL, or other trademark owners.

If a customer has a legitimate concern regarding the authenticity of an item purchased from Arousse Cards, the customer should contact us promptly with the order number, photographs, and supporting information so the matter can be reviewed.

This section does not limit any legal warranty or other mandatory consumer right.

8. PRICES, CURRENCY AND TAXES

Unless otherwise indicated, prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other calculable fees will be displayed before the customer completes the order.

International customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other fees imposed by their country or a third party. These amounts are not controlled by Arousse Cards and may not be included in the amount paid at checkout.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices and product information are accurate. Any correction, cancellation, or refund relating to an error will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

9. ORDERS

We reserve the right, where permitted by law, to limit or cancel orders associated with:

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity;

  • Automated purchasing or bot activity;

  • Abusive or unlawful conduct;

  • Attempts to interfere with the website;

  • Inventory unavailability;

  • Incorrect or incomplete customer information.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method, subject to applicable law and normal payment-processing delays.

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order, products, quantities, shipping address, and contact information before completing checkout.

10. PAYMENT

Payments are processed through Shopify and supported third-party payment providers.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that:

  • The information provided is accurate;

  • You are authorized to use the payment method;

  • You authorize the applicable charges associated with your order.

Arousse Cards does not directly store complete credit-card information.

An order may be placed on hold or cancelled if the payment cannot be authorized or if additional verification is reasonably required to prevent fraud.

11. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Orders are processed and delivered according to our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

Delivery estimates are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, customs processing, holidays, incorrect addresses, or events outside our reasonable control.

This section does not limit any rights customers may have when an order is not delivered within the period required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If an order has not yet shipped, customers should contact us immediately to request an address correction. We cannot guarantee that a correction will be possible after an order has been transferred to the carrier.

12. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

Collectible products may fluctuate in market value. A change in market price after a purchase does not, by itself, create a right to cancel or return an order.

Nothing in our Refund Policy or these Terms of Service removes rights arising from:

  • An incorrect product;

  • A materially misrepresented product;

  • A product damaged before or during delivery;

  • A product that is not delivered as required by law;

  • A legal warranty;

  • Any other mandatory consumer protection right.

13. MARKET VALUES AND INVESTMENT RISK

Trading cards and collectibles can increase or decrease in value.

Any market information, comparable sale, price reference, or opinion appearing on our website or social media is provided for general informational purposes only.

Arousse Cards does not provide financial or investment advice and does not guarantee that any product will retain or increase its value.

Customers are responsible for making their own purchasing and collecting decisions.

14. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their account credentials.

You must provide accurate and current account and contact information. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.

Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

15. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may not use the website to:

  • Commit fraud or make unauthorized purchases;

  • Violate applicable laws or third-party rights;

  • Upload or transmit malicious code;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or another customer’s account;

  • Scrape, copy, or extract website content through unauthorized automated means;

  • Interfere with the website’s operation or security;

  • Submit false, misleading, or abusive communications;

  • Impersonate another person or organization.

We may suspend access to the website when reasonably necessary to protect Arousse Cards, our customers, or our service providers.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Arousse Cards name, branding, original graphics, website design, written content, photographs, and other original materials are owned by Arousse Cards or used with permission.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit our original content without prior written authorization.

Product names, character names, sports leagues, grading-company marks, and other third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

17. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer our products and services.

Certain features may rely on third-party services, including payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics providers, and social-media platforms.

Third-party websites and services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Arousse Cards is not responsible for the independent content or practices of third-party websites.

18. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to maintain an accurate, secure, and operational website. However, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may update product descriptions, website content, and these Terms of Service when necessary. Changes will not reduce mandatory rights that already apply to a completed transaction.

19. PRIVACY

Personal information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected according to our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.

By using the website, you acknowledge that certain information must be processed by Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, and other service providers to complete orders and operate the store.

20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arousse Cards will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising solely from the use or inability to use the website.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits:

  • Mandatory consumer rights;

  • Legal warranties;

  • Liability for intentional or gross fault;

  • Liability for bodily or moral injury;

  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

21. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

22. NO WAIVER

A failure by Arousse Cards to enforce a provision of these Terms of Service does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.

23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes to our operations, products, services, legal obligations, or website functionality.

The current version and its latest revision date will be published on this page. The terms applicable to an order are generally those available when the order is placed, subject to applicable law.

24. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and transactions with Arousse Cards are governed by the applicable laws of Québec and Canada.

However, nothing in this section limits:

  • Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law;

  • A Québec consumer’s right to bring a dispute before a Québec court;

  • A consumer’s right to participate in a class action;

  • Any other jurisdictional protection that cannot legally be waived.

Customers are not required by these terms to submit disputes to mandatory arbitration.
